PRIMERA CIRCULAR
Con este congreso pretendemos dar a conocer el IULMA como plataforma de investigación y servicios en lenguas modernas y áreas de especialidad, así como ofrecer una panorámica actual de investigación interdisciplinar con las lenguas como elemento aglutinador, partiendo de las necesidades reales del tejido industrial, comercial y de las profesiones en general. Por lo tanto, la interdisciplinariedad es uno de los ejes centrales del congreso, así como las Tecnologías de la Información y la Comunicación aplicadas a la investigación y enseñanza en lenguas modernas, especialmente en áreas de especialidad.
Así pues, hacemos una primera convocatoria y animamos a los investigadores a enviarnos sus Resúmenes, tanto para las Comunicaciones como para los Paneles.
Los campos concretos del congreso son los siguientes:
• Análisis del Discurso
• Géneros académicos y profesionales
• Traducción Especializada
• Lexicología y Terminología
• TIC aplicadas a la investigación y/o enseñanza de lenguas de especialidad
Los Resúmenes (en castellano e inglés) deberán tener una longitud de 500 palabras y especificar 4 palabras clave.

FIRST CIRCULAR AND CALL FOR PAPERS
This conference has a twofold aim: (1) to highlight the role of IULMA as a platform for research and services in specialized languages and (2) to offer researchers and teachers the opportunity to participate in a conference that hopes to offer a global view of interdisciplinary research and teaching in specialized languages while taking into account the real needs of industry, commerce, and the professions. Interdisciplinarity thus constitutes one of the central axes of this conference together with Information and Communication Technologies applied to research and teaching in specialized languages.
We hereby encourage both researchers and teachers to send abstracts for talks that fall within the following main areas:
• Discourse Analysis
• Academic and Professional Genres
• Specialized Translation
• Lexicology and Terminology
• ICT applied to research and/or teaching of specialized languages
Abstracts (in Spanish and English) should be a maximum of 500 words in length. 4 key words should be specified.
