French Language Tutor (Part-time 2 Posts)

Two part-time posts are available for the academic year 2010-11. As members of a small team of French teaching staff you will take a key role in the teaching and examination of French language modules and related cultural studies on the degree course. You will contribute to the administration of the French degree programme and will participate in the development of teaching materials in French. You will be a native speaker of French and have an Honours degree (or equivalent). You will also have language teaching experience with adults. Language teaching experience in higher education would be desirable.
Salary will be at the tutor rate of £26.75 per hour. For the first post up to three hours per week of teaching, for the second post up to four hours per week of teaching, over twenty weeks (from October 2010 to June 2011).
Please note that the Department is in the process of expanding its language provision and there may be other opportunities for part-time teaching in the future.
