University of Essex - Department of Language and Linguistics

 

The Department of Language and Linguistics are seeking to appoint a Lecturer in French to contribute to all aspects of the provision of French language teaching. Duties will include the teaching and development of courses and modules in French Language and aspects of French culture and society, supervision of undergraduate projects and contribution to the administration of the Department.

 

The successful candidate will have a post-graduate qualification in a relevant area, competence in French equivalent to a native speaker and experience in language teaching, preferably in the UK Higher Education sector. This post is fixed-term for 10 months starting on or as soon as possible after the 1 September 2011.

 

Salary range: £29,972 - £35,788 pa, pro-rata
