A substantial investment strategy funding the recruitment of over 100 academic posts, including 50 professorial positions, across the University’s three Faculties has been put in place. This investment strategy will secure the development of Queen's world-class research and further enhance the international impact of its scholarship.
As part of this, the University wishes to recruit a world class academic to the position of Chair of French.
The successful candidate will have a sustained record of publication and research activity at the international level; evidence of an ability to attract external grant income; and, the ability to supervise and attract Postgraduate Research Students. S/He will also be committed to delivering high quality teaching at the Undergraduate and Postgraduate levels and have native or near-native fluency in the relevant language.
