The School of Languages, Linguistics and Film intends to make the following appointments for September 2010
Lecturer in Comparative Literature x 2
Eight month fixed-term (Maternity Cover) and up to 12 month fixed-term

The successful candidates will be expected to convene and teach undergraduate modules on the Comparative Literature degree programmes in the School. Ability to teach the French language is also desirable.
These two posts are full time. The successful candidates must be able to take up the appointment by 1 September 2010. Starting salary will be in the range £37,519 - £39,627 per annum, pro rata, inclusive of London Allowance. Successful candidates will be expected to contribute to the life of the School in a more general way, by undertaking appropriate administrative duties, and will be engaged in producing and publishing high-level research.
