Part Time : 27.38 (75% FTE)
The appointment will be on UCL Grade 7. The salary range will be £35,557 - £38,594 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance. Salary pro-rata for part time vacancies
Duties and Responsibilities
The UCL School of European Languages, Culture and Society comprises six departments - Dutch, French, German, Italian, Scandinavian Studies and Spanish - as well as several inter-disciplinary programmes. We are seeking to appoint a Teaching Fellow in French to prepare and deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses, participate in all aspects of the examining process and carry out related administrative tasks. This appointment is funded from mid September 2011 to mid June 2012 in the first instance.
Key Requirements
The successful candidate should have a PhD or equivalent in French Studies, as well as near-native competence in both English and French. Experience of teaching at undergraduate level is essential and expertise in French film or 20th century French literature will be an advantage.
