Teaching Fellow in French

University College London - School of European Languages, Culture and Society

 

Part Time : 23.03 hours per week (63.1 % FTE)

 

The appointment will be on UCL Grade 7. The salary range will be £35,707 - £38,744 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.

 

The School of European Languages, Culture and Society (SELCS) is seeking a Teaching Fellow in French to contribute to undergraduate language and literature teaching. The successful candidate will prepare and teach on a variety of courses, set, mark and assess student work, participate in oral exams, hold office hours and any other associated duties as necessary. This is a fixed term post to provide cover for sabbatical or other leave or for staff who have reduced teaching loads and will be available from approximately mid September 2012 to mid June 2013.

 

The successful candidate should have expert knowledge in the area of French Studies and native speaker or near-native speaker competence in both English and French. He or she should also have experience of teaching French language and literature and experience in a UK Higher Educational institution is desirable.
