Teaching Fellow in Renaissance Studies

Part Time: 18.25 hours per week (50% FTE)

 

The appointment will be on UCL Grade 7. The salary range will be £35,415 - £38,441 per annum (pro rata), inclusive of London Allowance.

 

The Department of Italian is seeking to appoint a Teaching Fellow in Renaissance Studies for nine months, from 1 September 2010 to 30 June 2011 to provide teaching cover.

 

At undergraduate level, the successful candidate will contribute to the Department's teaching in the area of Renaissance Studies as part of its provisions for its BA degrees and may also be asked to contribute to the Department's Renaissance MA teaching and provisions. The postholder will be required to mark and assess work completed for these. In addition, the postholder will be required to contribute to the Department's BA teaching of Italian language.

 

The appointee will be fluent in Italian and English, have a PhD in the area of Renaissance Studies, have teaching experience in the teaching of Renaissance Studies at a UK higher education institution and a good publication record focused on Renaissance Studies.
