Teaching Fellow in Romanian Literature

Part Time: 5.475 hours per week (15%FTE)
The appointment will be on UCL Grade 7. The salary range will be £35,557 - £38,594 per annum (pro rata), inclusive of London Allowance.
The School of Slavonic and East European Studies (SSEES) of University College London (UCL) is seeking to appoint a Teaching Fellow in Romanian Literature for the period from 19 September 2011 to 18 June 2011. The post holder will deliver the BA course 'Romanian Literature - Level 2' and will contribute to the BA courses 'Introduction to East European Literature' and 'Cinema in Eastern Europe'.
In order to carry out the duties effectively, the person appointed is required to have the following skills and experience: a doctoral degree in a relevant field; previous experience of teaching at university level, ideally within the British university system. S/he will also have experience of a Virtual Learning Environment, and a willingness to learn and use Moodle. Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills are essential.
