Part Time : 12.85 (35.2% FTE)
The appointment will be on UCL Grade 7. The salary range will be £35,557 - £38,594 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance. Salary pro-rata for part time vacancies
Duties and Responsibilities
The School comprises six departments - Dutch, French, German, Italian, Scandinavian Studies and Spanish and Latin American Studies. The postholder will contribute to undergraduate teaching within the Spanish department and participate fully in the setting and marking of coursework and examinations (including orals). He or she will also be required to carry out various administrative tasks associated with these responsibilities. The post is funded from mid September 2011 to mid June 2012 in the first instance.
Key Requirements
Candidates must have a relevant PhD or equivalent and have native speaker competency in Spanish. Teaching experience at undergraduate level is essential as are excellent time management and communication skills.
