Part Time: 12 hours per week (33% FTE)
The appointment will be on UCL Grade 7. The salary range will be £35,415 - 38,441 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.
Duties and Responsibilities: UCL Department of Spanish and Latin American studies is seeking to appoint a teaching fellow in modern Latin American Literature, Film and Culture for term 1, 2010.
Duties will include contributing to undergraduate teaching and assessment in the department, pastoral care of students and associated academic administrative responsibilities as directed by the Head of Department.
The post is funded until December 2010.
Key Requirements: The successful candidate will have a doctoral degree in a relevant area of specialisation and native or near-native competence in Spanish. A broad knowledge of Latin American literature, film and culture of the modern period is essential, along with relevant teaching and academic supervisory experience.
