Background
The Faculty has a full-time vacancy for a Senior Lecturer in French within the Department of English and Language Studies. The post holder will be responsible for directing the BA Combined Honours programme in French; overseeing the staffing and provision of modern foreign language teaching across the University, including the Department’s own Contemporary Language Studies programme; and teaching on the BA French programme.
You will have experience of teaching French in a Higher Education context, have a proven track record in published research, and hold an MA or equivalent qualification in French. You will also have a PhD in a relevant subject area. Experience of programme direction at HE level would be an advantage.
