Job Purpose:

You will have native-level speaking ability in Spanish with knowledge of the British University system and a degree in arts or humanities. You will play a leading role in the organisation and delivery of Spanish language at all levels of undergraduate study. You must demonstrate a commitment to modern communicative approaches to language teaching and a willingness to develop resources to support teaching and learning. Preference will be given to candidates with a postgraduate teaching qualification and considerable recent experience of teaching Spanish Language in a UK institution of Higher Education. This is a fixed term contract for 9 months, starting in September 2011
